Britany Butts helps Pride beat Indiana.

Former Massapequa High School soccer star Brittany Butts, who's been a defensive oriented midfielder at Hofstra, has added some offense to her resume.

Butts scored the first goal of her distinguished college career Sunday to help lead the Pride to a 3-1 victory over Indiana.

The junior has had two assists  in her previous two seasons at Hofstra. But she never found the net until 1:30 into the game against the Hoosiers.
