Assault
On August 3, Steven F Fitzgibbon, age 21 of Copiague, was arrested in the parking lot of the Massapequa Long Island Rail Road Station and charged with Assault 3rd and Possession of a Dangerous Weapon 4th.

Burglary Report
On August 2, Zcom Wireless at 942 North Broadway, North Massapequa, had it's front door glass broken. Reported stolen were several cell phones.

On August 3, a house located on Clocks Boulevard, Massapequa, had a rear window broken. Reported stolen were an Apple iPad and a jar of coins.
Vehicle Theft
On August 6, a 2007 blue Chrysler was reported stolen from a house on Joyce Avenue, Massapequa.
On August 7, a 1994 green Honda Accord was reported stolen from a house on Joyce Avenue, Massapequa.
Unusual Occurrences
On August 4, Unknown suspect(s) caused damage to screens, windows and glass doors at Schwarting Elementary School, located at 1 Flower Road, North Massapequa.
On August 5, Passenger side window of complainant’s 2008 gray Infinity was broken by unknown suspect(s) at a house located on Atlantic Avenue, Massapequa Park. No loss was reported.
On August 7, Complainant discovered her rear windshield of a 2009 black Kia was shattered by unknown suspect(s) at a house located on Bay Drive / Bell Air Road, Massapequa.

On August 2, a Wantagh woman was arrested at Kohl’s, 5300 Sunrise Highway, Massapequa, and charged with Petty Larceny.
On August 3, a Lindenhurst man was arrested at JC Penny, 600 Sunrise Mall, Massapequa, and charged with Petty Larceny.
On August 3, a Lindenhurst woman was arrested on Carmans Road, Massapequa, and charged with Grand Larceny 4th.
On August 4, a Melville man was arrested at JC Penny, 600 Sunrise Mall, Massapequa, and charged with Petty Larceny.
On August 6, a Lindenhurst man was arrested at JC Penny, 600 Sunrise Mall, Massapequa, and charged with Petty Larceny.
On August 8, Oscar Mejia, age 31 of Emily Street, Massapequa was arrested at said location and charged with 2 counts of Burglary 2nd, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd, and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th.
On August 8, a Massapequa Park woman was arrested at Macy’s, 400 Sunrise Mall, Massapequa. and charged with Petty Larceny.
