BOE: The Massapequa Board of Education meets at 8 p.m. on Thursday in the district board room.
Parent Athlete Meeting: This meeting for those participating in Fall sports will take place at Berner Middle School at 7 p.m.
42:There will be two showings of the film "42" about Brooklyn Dodger Jackie Robinson at the Bar Harbour Library Thursday. They will be at 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Retirement: Bar Harbour will host a seminar for those about 5 to 15 years from retirement.
Story Time: The Central Avenue Library will hold a story time for children 2 and a half and up at 10:30 a.m.
