9/11: Wednesday is the 12th anniversary of the terror attacks at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and in the skies over Shanksville, Pa. There will be memorials around the tri-state area. In Massapequa, there will be a bell ringing ceremony at the Towers of Freedom Military Monument at John J. Burns Park at 8:15 a.m.
Hearing Screenings: There will be free hearing screenings at the Bar Harbour Library Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. pre-registration is required.
Boys Soccer: Massapequa hosts Garden City at 4:30 p.m.
Girls Soccer: The Chiefs will be at home against Mapham at 4:30 p.m.
Golf: Massapequa will be at Farmingdale at 4 p.m.
