Blogging on Patch? I'll give it a try.

My Name is Andy Hyatt and I'm a Photojournalist for Patch.com. My wife and family and I have lived in Massapequa (on and off...mostly on) since the last time the Mets were World Champions. Back when Fehns was Gerst's, CVS was King Kullen...I mean Rite Aid...I mean Eckerds...I mean whatever it's going to be next and back when All American was All American. Well, I'm glad some things haven't changed.

One thing that hasn't changed for me is my love for photography. I've worked as a professional photographer for many years. Some of my favorite things to shoot are sports, news, nature and kids. So I'll use my first blog post to show a few of my fairly recent photos. I have some old one's somewhere and I'll try to dig them out as I go. Enjoy!
