The challenges of being a parent in this day and time are immense; especially when you consider that it is the only job for which you never get any formal training.
Active Parenting is a six week program that was established to equip parents to face the challenges during the lifelong journey as a parent. The program will help you to enhance the skills you already have, and/or incorporate new skills as your children move through the different developmental times in their lives.
YES Community Counseling Center, located at 75 Grand Avenue, Massapequa, has scheduled an Active Parenting Program for Adolescents to begin on Wednesday, July 27th from 7:00pm – 8:00 pm.
