Students Jumped Rope & Raised Money for The American Heart Association

Birch Lane Elementary school students were enjoying a day of jumping rope in Physical Education Class May 4th.  While they were having fun, they were also raising money for the American Heart Association and making a difference while staying physically active. The students at Birch Lane raised a total of $11,592.75 for The American Heart Association and joined in the fight against heart disease and stroke.  This wonderful donation will support such life-saving efforts as research, education, advocating for better health, improving patient care and reaching populations at risk.  This was an amazing activity for our children to participate in.  Thank you to the teachers, parents and students that participated.
