Becoming a Massapequa Millionaire
On the heels of the announcement that a Massapequa store sold a $1 million lottery ticket, the Powerball jackpot is now at more than half a billion. How often do you play?
Don't be surprised if Powerball fever strikes Massapequa over the next few days.
As of Thursday afternoon, lottery officials said the Powerball jackpot was at $540 million.
But Massapequa is already feeling lucky. It was also announced Thursday that one of three $1 million second prize tickets in Wednesday's Powerball drawing was sold in Massapequa.
