Celebrating Massapequa's Perseverance
This weekend's Massapequa celebrates Sandy's heroes. What acts of kindness do you remember?
Everyday heroes from Massapequa are going to receive some well deserved recognition this weekend, while the rest of us get a well deserved rest.
"Massapequa Breathes," an event designed to honor the community's resiliency from Hurricane Sandy.
It will be a day of fun as local civic organizations will be on hand and there will be food and other refreshments.
Most importantly, it will be a day when local heroes will be honored for their actions during and after the storm.
In that spirit, we want to hear some of your stories about acts of kindness and heroism you might have witnessed in connection with the storm.
