County Executive Mangano Celebrates Two Girl Scout Gold Award Recipients
Massapequa natives Gina Sanchez and Danielle Kertyzak were honored with Girl Scout Gold Awards by County Executive Edward P. Mangano.
Gina Sanchez and Danielle Kertyzak, both of Massapequa, were honored by Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano for earning their Girl Scout Gold Awards.
Recipients of the award must put forth a minimum of 80 hours of planning and implementing a challenging, large-scale project that is innovative, engaging and has a lasting impact on its targeted community with an emphasis on sustainability.
Since 1916, the Girl Scout Gold Award has been the highest and most prestigious award and stands for excellence and leadership for girls everywhere.
