Easter is considered the most important day on the christian calendar. It's also a day when area residents pack houses of worship.

Here's a look at Easter Services in the Massapequa area.

There will be a prayer service on Holy Saturday at 9 a.m. The Easter Vigil Mass will be held Saturday at 8 p.m.  Easter Sunday masses will be held at 7:30 a.m., 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., noon, and 1:30 p.m.

 The Easter Vigil Mass will be held Saturday at 8 p.m. Easter Sunday masses will be held at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m. 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.  There will be no 5:15 p.m. mass.
