Village Board: The Massapequa Park Village Board meets Monday night at 8 p.m. at Village Hall 151 Front Street. Among the items on the agenda is the appointment of a new trustee to fill the vacancy created when Jeffrey Pravato was appointe mayor early thismonth.

Scrabble:  Enjoy the word game from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bar Harbour Library.

Book Buddies Training: Teens can earn one hour of Community Service credit by reading to young children. Training will be at the Central Avenue Library ay 1 p.m.

Live Laugh and Learn: THe Bar Harbour Library is offering several elementary school level classes for children grades K-3. THey will focus on building confidence  self esteem in reading and math. Pre-resgistration is required it costs $100 per student per week or $500 for the six week session. Contact Roseanne Primus at 516-510-4822.

Swim Lessons: Session 2 of the Town of Oyster Bay's swim lessons begins Monday.
