No. 88: Take A Picnic Basket To Brady Park

The perfect place for fun-filled family activities.

A picturesque recreational area situated next to the Massapequa Preserve, the lakeside is home to a variety of beautiful fowl, including geese, ducks, and swan. And despite its relatively small size, Brady Park manages to pack a lot of fun in-between its fences.

Among the activities available to residents are Little League baseball (in the park's own full-fledged baseball field), a World War II memorial (which doubles as a stage for events), a playground filled with equipment to climb on and slide down, a full picnic area including benches and coal BBQ grills, and bocce, horseshoe, and basketball courts.

There is also a building on the park's grounds that is also home to a Senior Center and children's daycare.

With the warm weather coming (it is, we promise!), Brady Park is the perfect little outdoor getaway without having to get away.

Check back next week to see what No. 87 is.
