There is nothing more fun than a snow day and area students got one today.
Although official snowfall totals aren't available for the Massapequas, the area probably got somewhere between 6 to 12 inches of snow. Neighboring Seaford saw eight inches.
Much of the area was a ghost town Wednesday morning, which is a good thing, because it gave workers a chance to plow street.
