The report said of Massapequa Park:

Massapequa Park showed that putting your nose to the grindstone can result in some pretty sweet compensation. Workers in this 17,008 population village were on the job an average of 38.2 hours a day and on the road an average of 34.4 minutes a day. That’s a whole lot of being out and about. With only 6.4 percent of the population being unemployed, that means hardly anyone is just hanging around on weekdays here.

The list, released last week by Movato.com, compiled data from household income and cost of living, average time spent commuting, unemployment rates, and average hours worked per week.

Scarsdale, Rye, and Dobbs Ferry took first, second, and third place respectively. Also making the top 10 were Mamaroneck (fifth) and Peekskill (eighth). Read the full list here.
