Rosh Hashanah Services in Massapequa

High Holy Day starts Wednesday.

Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year starts Wednesday as the year 5774 arrives. it's the start of the Jewish High Holy Days and there will be several services in the area over the next three days.

Here's a look at area services. Please note that most services usually require tickets:

Temple Sinai of Massapequa: The Temple located at 270 Clocks Boulevard holds an 8 p.m. evening service Wednesday. On Thursday, there will be a 10 a.m. morning service. There will be a Tashlich service at 1:15 p.m. and a family service at 2:30 p.m. Friday Shabbat services will be at 7:30 p.m.

Congregation Beth-El: Wednesday services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday morning services will be held at 9 a.m. with Tashlich at 6:30 p.m. followed by evening services at 7:30p p.m. Friday morning services are at 9 a.m. and Friday Evening services at 7 p.m.
