On Friday, an elderly woman was killed on while walking on Sunrise Highway, according to police.
It's the latest fatality on a road that is considered one of Nassau County's most dangerous.
In addition to incidents involving pedestrians, we've seen crashes as well as complaints about speeding.
At the same tine Sunrise Highway is a major intersection in Massapequa and other parts of Long Island.
