Staying Inside and Digging Out in Massapequa

The temperature was about the same as the number of inches of snow on the ground in Massapequa Wednesday. 

For the second time in less than a month, Massapequa and surrounding areas were digging out from a major snow storm.

It was a lot of digging with about a foot of snow on the ground, and it wasn't easy to do with temperatures in the teens.

Not everyone got to go outside. A dog belonging to Twitter user "Meg" had a great time staying warm and barking at snow. 

ANother Twitter user got some shoveling done before hitting the hay. Still another user hoped against hope that the white stuff would be gone Wednesday morning.  
There were some wonderful winter scenes in the Massapequas and we hope you're enjoying it no matter what you're doing.
