Thursday's temperatures are expected to reach dangerous levels, prompting the National Weather Service to place the area under a Heat Advisory.

"High levels of heat and humidity" will make sunstroke, muscle cramping, and heat exhaustion possible, said NWS. The advisory is in effect until 8 p.m. Thursday.
