Why Go:  See some live music and the songs you grew up with by Boomers Brew one of the more popular acts at one of Massapequa's top clubs.

When:  April 2, 8 p.m.

Why Go:  See some live music by Red White & Blues Band which combines traditional blues and southern rock. The band is influenced by the likes of B.B. King, Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughn.

When:  April 1, 9:30 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Why Go:  See some live music from a popular area blues band.

Nunsense at Massapequa Public Library

Where: , 40 Harbor Ln, Massapequa Park, NY

When: April 3, 2 p.m.

Why Go:  Plaza Theatrical Productions, Inc. is performing the hit comedy  "Nunsense."  It's the story of Little Sisters of Hoboken who decide to stage a variety show to raise money to bury 52 of the Sisters accidentally poisoned by the convent cook.  Featuring star turns, tap and ballet dancing, an audience quiz, and comic surprises, this musical is loved by anybody who's been to Catholic School or anybody who loves a good comedy. Pricing:  Free

Distinguished Artists Concert - Seven Bridges Road at Farmingdale Public Library

Where: , 116 Merritts Rd, Farmingdale, NY

When: April 3, 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Why Go:  See this show from the Town of Oyster Bay Distinguished Artist Series.  Noted for their high-performance energy, this band is noted for their harmonies.  Often layered in 3, 4, and 5 parts, listeners frequently state that Seven Bridges Road's vocals evoke the sounds of the Eagles, the Doobie Brothers, and the Beatles.
