Brady Park: Photo Tour

A park for all seasons and all reasons.

Brady Park is located in Massapequa Park at the intersection of Lake Shore Drive and Front Street. It is used for a variety of activities for people of all ages. Plenty of free street parking is available but be sure to read the signs for any restrictions.

For the youngsters, there is a playground with a variety of swings, slides and cool items to climb in, out and on. For the pre-teens and teens there is a field to play baseball. This field is a tournament-grade Little League baseball field.  It is named after Capt. Christopher J. Adams, an Air Force captain and Massapequa Park resident who died serving his country.

Everyone is able to take advantage of the picnic facilities and grills. One of the picnic facilities and eating areas is under cover in case of inclement weather.  Brady Park also has a concrete stage for community events such as the Concert Under The Stars and the Irish Night concert.

The park is directly next to the Massapequa State Park Preserve. The preserve's lake is a popular destination for fishing as it has been stocked with trout.  Additionally, Brady Park and the trails surrounding the Massapequa State Park Preserve lake are popular for running and jogging. Many running clubs and race organizers use Brady Park and the surrounding trails as the course for 5k races.

Also part of Brady Park is the community senior center. It is commonly referred to as the Brady Park Senior Community Center, as it is directly next to Brady Park.
