Massapequa Designer Goes for Runway Glory

Christopher Palu still standing in reality show finale.

Thursday could be the biggest night of Massapequa resident Christopher Palu's life.

He is one of the remaining contestants on season 10 of Lifetime's "Project Runway." 

The show offers budding fashion designers a chance to get a high profile start in the fashion industry with aa grand prize of $100,000 in start up money from  L’Oréal Paris, a new Lexus, a Marie Claire magazine spread, and more.

The final four wil learn their fate in Thursday night's two-part season finale of the reality show. The first part airs at 8 p.m. with the final part airing at 9 p.m.

Palu, 24, is a Brooklyn native who attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan. His favorite designers are Frida Giannina, Phoebe Philo and Alber Elbaz.

He's won four challenges this season and three other top three finishes.

But Palu, who often designs out of his Massapequa home, will have to close the deal.

He sounded humble Thursday, tweeting out to his fans, "I never thought I would be in this position."
