There are plenty of places for the artists on Long Island to exhibit, learn and interact with each other. They just have to look., as a working artist residing in Massapequa I have enjoyed membership to the various art groups all over Long Island. The closest is right in our backyard. The Amityvillevartists circle is a group where we exhibit , learn, and commiserate . It would be nice if the patch had a column every so often informing it's readers of upcoming events, shows and classes. Arlene Mcloughlin
