Pass the syrup!

IHOP is celebrating National Pancake Day on Tuesday by offering customers free pancakes in an effort to entice charitable donations.

The Massapequa Park location of the national chain, which won our readers' choice poll for best pancakes in Massapequa last April, will participate. They're located at 4870 SUnrise Highway.

In return for the free pancakes this year, guests will be asked to consider leaving a donation for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (or other designated charities).

IHOP is hoping to raise $3 million this year. They've raised more than $10 million since starting the promotion in 2006. If you can't make it out to the store, you can donate online
