Holiday Guide: 2011: Eating Out on Christmas

Massapequa has some Christmas dining options.

It's supposed to be  holiday, so why cook?

If you're looking to get out of the kitchen on Christmas or just want a professionally cooked meal, Massapequa has some places for you to go this weekend. 

Here's a look at area restaurants that will be open on Christmas and what's on the menu.

The Good Life, 1039 Park Boulevard, Massapequa Park, is open
from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. Christmas Day and features a reduced menu. This
restaurant features American style food and a beer menu with a variety of different beers.

The Good Life also features a Beer Dinner in which a beer of the month
is featured and paired with five courses to compliment the beer and bring out
certain flavors.

If you’re in the mood for some barbecue instead of a more
traditional Christmas meal, Smoking Al’s, 4847 Merrick Road, Massapequa Park
will be open noon-10 p.m. featuring a regular menu. Smoking Al’s is known as
the best Ribs Joint on Long Island with the best Mac and Cheese.

Ciao Baby, 5074 Sunrise Hwy, Massapequa Park, will be open
on Christmas Eve with a holiday themed menu. Beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve, there will be a live singer, Johnny Cupples and other holiday
specials. 

There are also Hanukkah inspired items that are on the menu.

In case your Christmas dessert didn’t turn out the way you
wanted, or you need to pick up something to bring to Grandma’s house for dinner, you’re in luck.

Best Ever Bakery , 17 Broadway, Massapequa, will be open on Christmas from 6 a.m. until 3 p.m. Customers picking up a pre-order will be
given a bag of homemade holiday cookies as a gift.
