The mayor of New York City has proposed banning large sugary drinks, but not everyone is sweet on the idea.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg wants to end the sale of such drinks in containers larger than 16 ounces.
The City board of health needs to approve the plan.
Bloomberg points to an obesity epidemic in public schools and supporters of the idea include noted Massapequan Alec Baldwin.
But others say it's an unnecessary government intrusion.
