Well, Thursday is here...only one more day to go until the holiday weekend.
With school out this week and Passover and Easter upon us, there's a great many things going on in Massapequa this week. We've tried to include enough variety in today's edition of "Five Things" to cater to everyone.

- Spring Recess Movie Special at Massapequa Lanes: Looking for a fun-filled day with the kids while they're off from school this week? At a $10 fee covers bowling, shoes, pizza, drink, and a screening of the hit film "Gulliver's Travels." The show begins at 10 a.m.
- Varsity Baseball: Hicksville H.S. @ Massapequa H.S.: hosts the always-tough Hicksville on Thrusday. The game starts bright and early at 10:30 a.m.
- Passover: The holiday continues Thursday with an evening service at at 7:15 p.m.
- Holy Thursday Morning Prayer Service at Our Lady of Lourdes: The road to Easter Sunday continues with an early morning prayer service at at 9 a.m, followed by the Mass of the Lord Supper at 8 p.m.
- Magic Workshop - Children's Program at Massapequa Public Library: Jim McCenahan shows kids ages 8-12 the ins-and-outs of the mystery of magic starting at 11 a.m. at the .
