Blood Drive: The Town of Oyster Bay is holding their semiannual blood drive Thursday at Town Hall North, 54 Audrey Avenue, Oyster Bayfrom 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Town Hall South, 977 Hicksville Road, Massapequa 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Department of Public Works (Sanitation & Recycling) at  150 Miller Place 7:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Town employees only, Department of Public Works-War Room (Highway), 150 Miller Place, Syosset 11a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and the Hicksville Athletic Center, 167 Broadway Hicksville 2:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Movie: It's movie day at the. They will be showing the Academy Award nominated film, "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" at 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Book Budies: Teens will read stories to kids 3 to 7 at the and earn community Service credit. It all starts at 4 p.m.

Karaoke: Sing along at the  Karaoke night from 8 p.m. to midnight at the Merrick Road club.

Trivia: It's trivia night at the starting at 9 p.m.
