Being Thankful After the Storm

It's a difficult time,but it's also a time to appreciate the little things. What are you thankful for?

It's a question that's asked every year at this time, but it's more poignant in 2012.

On the fourth Thursday in November, Americans celebrate the Thanksgiving Holiday as a day of thanksgiving. 

It's a tradition that many date back to the Plymouth colony in Massachusetts in the 17th century.

In our current time, it would seem there's not much to be thankful about. We just experienced a hurricane that left many with damaged property and some homeless.

Residents had to endure days without power and anger on lines at gas station.

But we also saw communities band together and neighbors helping neighbors in a time of need.

So we're going to ask the question again and we hope you reflect on it and share what you feel about a difficult time in Massapequa.
