If your looking for a holiday outing for the family, or if you're interested in history and local landmarks, there's plenty for you to do in the upcoming weeks.

Here's a look at some of the holiday events going on at local landmark sites:

The buildings on the site will be lit by candlelight. There will be music from local schools, a brass quartet and some old-time fiddle tunes. A tree will be decorated 1866-style and there will be a traditional bonfire with hot apple cider. It runs from 5p.m. to  9:30 p.m. both nights. Entrance fees are: $10 for adults, $7 for children (5-12), seniors and volunteer firefighters.
