Chamber of Commerce: The Massapequa Chamber of Commerce will host their monthly meeting at noon Thursday. The January meeting at Ciao Baby will include a presentation of a $600 donation to the Massapequa High School Best Buddies program. It costs $25 for members, $35 for non members.
Hey Abbott! The Bar Harbour Library willl remember Bud Abbott, one half of the legendary team of Abbott and Costello at 2 p.m. Presenter Sal St. George will play portions of Abbott's final interview.
ZBA: The Town of Oyster Bay's Zoning Board of Appeals meets at 7p.m. at Town Hall 54 Audrey Avenue in Oyster Bay.
Warming Stations: The Town of Oyster Bay has opened up warming stations for residents who need a break from the cold. They will be at the Hicksville Community Center at 28 West Carl Street , The Oyster Bay Community Center on Church Street in Oyster Bay and the Marjorie Post Park Community Center at 451 Unqua Road in Massapequa. They will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Swimming: The Massapequa Boys swim at Sewanhaka at 5 p.m.
