Snow: The tail end of a winter storm moved through Long Island Friday. Snow fell in the Massapequa area Friday morning and the National Weather Service said it was likely to continue until early afternoon before changing over to rain with gradual clearing tonight. Despite the storm, schools in Massapequa opened on time.

Girls Hoops: Massapequa goes for the Long Island Championship Friday against Sachem East. Tip Off is at 8 p.m. at Hofstra University. Admission is $6. Go Chiefs!

Blood Pressure: There will be Free Blood Pressure readings for senior citizens Friday at the Bar Harbour Library starting at 10 a.m.

Tax Assistance: As the runup to the tax deadline continues, the AARP will give help seniors who need assistance filling out their tax forms at Bar Harbour, starting at 10 a.m. It's by appointment only.
