Homecoming: Massapequa begins their homecoming weekend on Friday as students will take part in the annual pep rally at the Massapequa High School gym. Fall athletes will be honored. Students will also be wearing Blue and Gold in advance of Saturday's big game against Hempstead.
Field Hockey: There will also be a number of Chiefs teams in action this weekend, including a Friday match in which Massapequa hosts Carle Place.
Boys Volleyball: The Chiefs travel to Port Washington for a 5 p.m. match.
Blood Pressure: The Visiting Nurse Service of New York will be sponsoring free blood pressure readings at the Central Avenue Library at 10 a.m.
Let's Talk: The senior discussion group meets at the Bar Harbour Library at 1 p.m.
