Oct. 23: Senior IDs

Check out some events going on in the Massapequa area Tuesday.

IDs: State Sen. Charles Fuschillo, R-Merrick, and County Executive Ed Mangano sponsor a program at the Bar Harbour Library in which seniors over age 65 will receive a free ID card. The photo ID will include personal contact information and emergency contact information which may be useful if a senior cannot communicate with emergency responders. It runs from noon to 3 p.m.

Mah Jongg: At the same noon start time in Bar Harbour, you can play Mah Johng. The library will provide the tables.

Family Fun Night: At the Central Avenue Library there will be a class for toddlers 18 months old to 5 years. Attendees must live in the Massapequa School District area and there's a waiting list.

Field Hockey: Massapequa travels to Friends Academy at 4:30 p.m.
