A Queens man who man beat up his ex-girlfriend at the and tried to abduct her was arrested Wednesday night in Seaford, police said.
Franklyn Brown, 24, faces a slew of charges stemming from the June 21 incident.
Brown allegedly went to the victim's workplace at the mall and began punching, kicking and choking the 23-year old victim, cops said.
He then allegedly dragged her through an employee area and out into the mall parking lot.
He continued to choke her and threatened to kill her, police said.
A Brinks armoured car driver saw what was going on and saved the victim. Brown fled on foot with his ex-girlfriend's cell phone, according to police.
The victim suffered injuries to her face, eyes, neck and foot
Brown was picked up Wednesday night by seventh Precinct officers with the assistance of the Bureau of Special Operations and the Electronics Squad.
He was charged with robbery, attempted kidnapping, Burglary in the second degree, criminal contempt, criminal obstruction of breathing and assault.
The contempt charges were filed against Brown because the victim had taken an order of protection out against him.
