Police Blotter: Two Burglary Arrests

June 1 to June 6.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Burglaries

On June 6, a South Farmingdale man was arrested after for breaking into a backyard shed on Rose Street. The homeowner heard noise and called police, who discovered Adam Halpern, 48, walking down the street with a red scooter taken from the home, police said. Halpern was charged with Burglary 3rd, Possession of Burlary Tools and Petty Larceny.

Car Theft

On June 6, a 1991 blue Buick that had been parked at Carmans Plaza, was reported missing, police said.

Petty Larceny Arrests

On June 1, An Amityville woman was arrested at Wal-Mart at the Sunrise Mall and charged with Petty Larceny.

On June3, two Amityville women were arrested at Wal-Mart at theSunrise Mall and charged with Petty Larceny.

On June 3, a Baldwin woman was arrested at Wal-Mart at the Sunrise Mall and charged with Petty Larceny.

On June 3, a Huntington Station woman was arrested at JC Penny at the Sunrise Mall and charged with Petty Larceny.

On June 4, a Copiague woman was arrested at Macy’s at the Sunrise Mall and charged with Petty Larceny.

On June 4, a Brentwood was arrested at Macy’s at the Sunrise Mall and charged with Petty Larceny.

On June 4, a Wyandanch woman was arrested at Macy’s at the Sunrise Mall and charged with Petty Larceny.

On June 6, a Bay Shore woman was arrested at Wal-Mart at the Sunrise Mall and charged with Petty Larceny.
