Police Botter: Perfume Theft in North Massapequa

March 5 to March 11.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Grand Larceny

On March 7, two men stole 25 bottles of perfume and cologne from a display case aton North Jerusalem Avenue, police said. the theft occured some time around 6:15 p.m., according to cops.

DWI/DWAI

On March 6, Anthony B Gelormino, 21, of  Copiague was arrested on Brendan Avenue near Bannon Place, Massapequa Park and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while Ability impaired and one violation of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.

On March 7, Tara J Askin, 33 of Massapequa Park was arrested on Sunrise Highway near New York Avenue, Massapequa and charged with driving while ability impaired and two violations of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.

Leaving the Scene of an Incident

On March 6, Elmer M Mata, 44 of Freeport was arrested on Broadway near Commonwealth Avenue, Massapequa and charged with reckless driving, leaving the scene of an incident without a report and unlicensed operator.

Marijuana Arrest

On March 12, Gary T Jones, 27 of Central Islip was arrested on Ford Drive West, Massapequa and charged with resisting arrest, unlawful possession of marijuana and harassment 2nd.

Petty Larceny

On March 9, a Freeport woman was arrested at JC Penney at the and charged with petty larceny.

On March 11, a West Sayville woman was arrested at at the Sunrise Mall and charged with petty larceny.

On March 11, a Levittown woman was arrested at Sears at the Sunrise Mall and charged with petty larceny.

On March 11, a Bronx woman was arrested at at the  Sunrise Mall,  and charged with petty larceny.

On March 11, a West Babylon woman was arrested at Sears,  at the Sunrise Mall and charged with petty larceny.
