Nowadays being "green," or environmentally conscious, is all the rage, and with good reason. After all, we've only got one planet, and it's our duty to see that it's taken care of.
With simple steps such as taking your own re-usable cloth shopping bags to the supermarket, recycling bottles, newspapers, and plastics, using hybrid automobiles, or even just grabbing a bag and picking up random litter off the street, people all over are trying to find ways to take the strain off of Mother Earth.
In light of environmental diasters such as last year's BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, many feel that it's more important now than ever to do our part in saving the planet.
