Question of the Day: Who's Got the Best Burger in Massapequa?

Patch wants to know who you think serves up the tastiest hamburger.

Whatever could be more American than Mom and apple pie? Simple: the hamburger. A favorite of BBQ cook-outs, it's likely that you'll be eating at least a few in the upcoming summer months this year.

When it comes to burgers, there's certainly no shortage of places to get 'em in Massapequa, and that's the problem; it's a certainty that no two local residents will agree which establishment's beef and buns reign supreme.

If you're clueless as to where to start your great burger hunt, Patch is offering a few choices to get you started. But don't be afraid to press out into uncharted territory to find a great hamburger to call your very own, either.

 - Located on Merrick Road, this joint is usually mobbed once the weather warms up, and rightfully so; it's burgers are the stuff of legend.

 - A to the Massapequa burger scene, this eatery is located on Sunrise Highway and entices customers not only with tasty food, but some great milkshakes as well.

 - The only remaining diner within the confines of Massapequa, where else can you get a nice, juicy hamburger with ?

Our question is: Who's got the best burger in Massapequa?

I don't live in Massapequa, but when I'm on the South Shore I find some time for All American.

I am sure the other two places are great, but All American is an iconic landmark and can't be beat! People come from all over and no one complains about waiting on line.. it's amazing quality and prices ! I try to eat very healthy now but every once in awhile you just have to have an All American fix! Having a milkshake takes you right back to being a kid again!

Even with the line I come back.

All American for Fries, but for burgers you need to go to another massapequa landmark: Krisch's!

I have to agree with Andrew....I'm not local, but when I'm in Massapequa, it's All American for fries and Krisch's for burgers!

I also have to agree with Andrew but I will add the ice cream is what put Krish's on the map so go pig out and get dessert too
