Sandy Damaged Golf Course Back In Full Swing

They were replacing more than the divots at the Peninsula Golf Club in Massapequa last November.

The 9-hole course on Nassau Road was damaged by downed trees after Hurricane Sandy struck.

But you wouldn't know that watching golfers taking drives and putts on Thursday.

The club quickly cleaned up the debris and reopened. It will also be open Memorial Day weekend, although the forecast may not be great for golf.

The National Weather Service calls for rain every day but Monday.
