Rosh Hashanah: The Jewish New year began at sunset on Sunday. All Massapequa Public Schools will be closed on Monday and Tuesday.

Silver Anniversary: Monday is a special day for couples celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary in St Rose of Lima Parish. There will be an anniversary mass at 7:30 p.m. followed by a reception at the rectory.
