Schools Closed: Yom Kippur, the Jewish day of atonement, began Tuesday night. Massapequa Public Schools are Closed Wednesday.

Services: Temple Sinai in Massapequa will hold a morning service at 10 a.m. Wednesday, a family service at 2;15 p.m. and an afternoon service at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday services at Congregation Beth-El will be at 9:30 a.m.,11:30 a.m. 4:45 p.m. 6:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.

Family Fun: The Westfield Sunrise Mall will hold a family fun day at 4 p.m. Kids 6 and up can make a summer vacation scrapbook. They're encouraged to bring photos.

Voter Information: The League of Women Voters will be at the Central Avenue Library to provide voter information at 2 p.m.
