Sanitation/ S.O.R.T. Monday was Labor Day and there was no sanitation collection in the Town of Oyster Bay. Those who normally receive sanitation or recycling collection on Monday will have pickup on Tuesday, while Tuesday customers will receive collection on Wednesday.
Town Meeting: The Oyster Bay Town Board Meets Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Town Hall, 54 Audrey Avenue in Oyster Bay.
Back to School: Thursday was the start of school in the Massapequa district, Tuesday marks the first Back to School Night. The Ames campus of will hold their event at 7 p.m.
PTA: The kicks off their school year with an Executive meeting at 9:45 a.m.
Book Discussion: The will hold their Literature and Life Book Discussion. They will look at "Rules of Civility," by Amo Towels at 1 p.m.
