Career Night: will hold their second annual career night on Wednesday. Many organizations will be on hand to talk to students about their career paths. There will also be workshops on resume writing and interviews. Pre-registration is preferred, but you can sign up at the door. It runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Sanitation/ S.O.R.T. Because of Monday's Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, Town of Oyster Bay residents who normally have sanitation and recycling pickup on Monday received it on Tuesday. Residents who usually get pickup on Tuesday will receive it Wdnesday.

Parent Orientation: Parents of incoming ninth graders at Massapequa High School's Ames Campus can learn what they need to know for the upcoming year, beginning at 8 a.m. at the school.

East Lake: Because of a pipe burst at there will be no after school or evening activities this week.  Classes will go on as scheduled.

Pooh: It's the perfect day for the Christopher Robins in your life. The Bar Harbour Library is celebrating author A.A. Milne's birthday, with a children's story time program featuring Winnie the Pooh stories.
