1) Board of Education: The Massapequa School Board meets at 8 p.m. Thursday in the Board Room at Massapequa High School.

2) PTA: The Unqua PTA holds an executive meeting at the school beginning at 9:45 a.m. Thursday.

3) Chamber of Commerce: The Massapequa Chamber of Commerce holds its monthly meeting at Smokin' Al's Famous BBQ beginning at noon. It's $25 for members and $35 for non-members.

4) Movie: The Bar Harbour Library will have gtwo showings of the film "Win Win" starring Paul Giamatti and Amy Ryan at 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

5) Meet and Greet: We arenow one day away from the first ever Massapequa Patch Meet and Greet. It  will take place at the newly renovated  at 4942 Merrick Road at 9 a.m. Friday.
