Police Reorganization: Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano has announced a plan to merge police precincts, Monday. Under the plan, the 7th Precinct will remain intact, while the 8th precinct would be transformed into a new community policing center, while parts of Massapequa would be covered by the 2nd Precinct.
