Pearl Harbor Day: Wednesday is the 70th anniversary of the Japanese attack on U.S. Naval forces at Pearl Harbour, that led to the American entrance into World War II. There will be a ceremony Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the American Airpower Museum, located at Republic Airport in Farmingdale.

Marine Corps League: The Sunrise Detachment holds their monthly meeting at 99 New York Avenue, beginning at 8:30 p.m.

Gifts From the Kitchen: This class at Kitchen Times Party place gives kids a chance to decorate aprons and picture frames , while preparing candy and cookie mix for a gift package. It starts at 10:30 a.m.

Origami: Kids 8 to 12 can make a winter holiday Origami at the Bar Harbour Library The program gets underway at 7 p.m.

Track: Massapequa's Boys and Girls track and field teams will both compete in a Meet at St. Anthony's High School beginning at 6:30 p.m.
