1) ZBA: The Town of Oyster Bay Zoning Board of Appeals meets Thursday at Village Hall, 54 Audrey Avenue in Oyster bay. There are seven Massapequa properties on the agenda.

2) Movie Day: It's time for the Bar Harbour Library to go Hollywood. There will be two showings of "Water for Elephants" at 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

3) Writing Wokshop: Bar Harbour will also be the site for the senior writing group led by Mary Haughy. It starts at 1 p.m.

4) AIDS Awareness: Thursday is World Aids Day and the Massapequa school district continues AIDS awareness week. Students will receive instruction on HIV and AIDS awareness issues.

5) Wrestling: Farmingdale @ Massapequa 3:15 p.m.
