can we get a description of the bad guys please?
Edward Robinson (Editor) June 16, 2011 at 07:18 PM
Police did not release a description other than that they were 5 to 6 black males in their 20s.

Only a vigilante would ask that
Massa September 09, 2012 at 12:35 AM
Why would only a vigilante ask that question Andrew? It only makes sense to give a description. What if you live in the area and see some group who fits that description and are hanging around you area Andrew? Are you going to let them harm someone? I can't believe you wrote such a dumb thing about a very good question. If someone commits a crime in my area, I want to know a description so that I have an idea Of what they look like. It dosnt have anything to do with race, it has to do with who the bad element is and if they are going to try and hurt someone else, and I don't think you would have wrote something dumb like that if that was your family member that was victimized. Get a clue and think before you write something stupid like that again.

Perfect picture of Nassau's not so finest sitting in a parking lot. Looks like what we are always use to seeing.
Andrew B. Herzman September 09, 2012 at 01:59 AM
Did i say anything about race? Um, no. If the police have a description and are on patrol looking for them, then it's being taken care of. What would you do with the description? Go after them yourself? It wasn't dumb at all. Why must you attack my words on a personal level? If you don't agree with me, fine, You're allowed your opinion, but so am I.
Andrew B. Herzman September 09, 2012 at 02:01 AM
How would you like it if I said that was a dumb thing to say? I don't think you would have wrote something dumb like that if that was your family member who was a cop.
Yankee Man September 09, 2012 at 02:47 AM
Massa.......you Must understand that Andrew is against the cops and is very unhappy with his position in life. he complains about most everything. Andrew why would the police issue a description of the perps and not include their race?......political correctness that why ? The single most importnat feature is a race and sex of a perp. If there is a crime in my area I would like as complete a description as the police have and they should not without any information. If they gave a total dscription I may know the perp and report it to the police. Have a nice night Andrew and I hope yout life gets bettter.
Andrew B. Herzman September 09, 2012 at 02:55 AM
Why must you always attack me on a personal basis and make things up about me, even though you don't even know me? Why can't you respect another human beings opinion that differs from yours without bashing them on a personal level?? Maybe because you have issues? BTW:Most people who would know a perp either is one themselves are hangs out with them.
Andrew B. Herzman September 09, 2012 at 02:58 AM
If I'm so against cops, then why did I just stick up for them? Because you don't know me and have no idea what I'm about, so don't pretend you're an expert on me. Go get a life.

I think you don't know what you are talking about. Your the one who attacked Dan nap with your comment about vigilantes, I do have s problem with your comment , but that is my Opinion Andrew, just like you have one. Like Dan nap wrote, if people in the community have a description, then they can assist the police by calling them . We also have many police officers from the city who live in the area, who would assist and protect where they live. That is being a good citizen, NOT a vigilante Andrew. My comments about Nassau is my opinion because of experiences I have had with them such as calling tgem and getting attitude and refusing to do their jobs when I called about someone in my area looking in car windows, they blew me off and failed to do their jobs.

"If people in the community have a description, then they can assist the police by calling them". Dan asked, "Can we get a description of the bad guys please?" So he doesn't have a description and the only place to get one is from the police, not the other way around. How was my opinion an "attack on Dan"? I didn't even mention him. Other police officers from the city have access to police data bases and can get the description. I never said police were vigilantes, now did I? Don't put words in my mouth. I too have had many experiences with police where I called them for help and they refused to do their jobs. At $200,000 a year, that's unacceptable.

Am I going to let them harm someone??? Am I the police? No. I'm expected to step in? Yeah, OK.
