Community Corner

Week In Review

Events of June 13-20.

Summer's still a few days away, but there was a sense of change in the air this week. The Massapequa School District announced an administrative overhaul that had one school community up in arms. A planned change at the Massapequa soccer club also caused disagreement, but the club also joined together to honor their beloved founder. Schoolchildren gathered to pay tribute to stars and stripes and we heard the inspiring story of a woman who runs a local low carb cake store.  Thanks to our staff for their support.
